CNN reports Doris Schmitt’s last will left $25,000 to each of her two nieces, and $300,000 to Family Radio – the failed predictor of the May 21 Rapture. Schmitt, a native of Queens, New York, died on May 2, 2010, and her nieces feel she would not have left Family Radio the money had she seen the prediction fizzle. They consulted area lawyers, but were told they didn’t have a case.

Family Radio is almost entirely funded by donations – over $18 million in 2009, the article reports.

It’s sad this woman’s money will be used to perpetuate a fraud rather than going to help her relatives.

Family Radio has moved its Rapture prediction to October 21.
