As Mud Flies, Bad Imp(R)essions Mount
This is predictable. We know that negative ads are powerful campaign weapons. The leading Republicans, Romney and Gingrich, have been lambasting each other for weeks now, highlighting and exaggerating the worst qualities of each.
The public’s takeaway? Both candidates are now viewed much less favorably by the public. TPM has an excellent poll of polls on which you can track the candidates’ declining fav/unfav score.
Romney (note the recent fall – plummet – from grace)
St. Ronnie’s eleventh commandment was to never speak ill of a fellow Republican. Advice not heeded in this cycle. Apparently Ronnie didn’t make it up.
